membership helps preserve the natural world through the
many national and local Audubon conservation and education

Membership entitles you to receive the National Audubon Society magazine, Audubon. With membership, you also
automatically become a member of your local chapter, Payne County Audubon Society, receive Feathers, the
Chapter’s monthly electronic newsletter, and receive notification of the Chapter’s monthly programs, field trips, and
events. Of course you will also meet like-minded people, discover new birding locales, make new friends, and grow
and learn by working with Chapter members and on Chapter projects and events.
New members. New members may join at the special introductory rate of $20 for the first year, $30 two years, or
$15 for students and seniors.
Expired membership. If your membership has expired and you wish to rejoin Audubon, please send an
application form to the PCAS office (Payne County Audubon Society, PO Box 82, Stillwater, OK 74076) rather than
directly to National Audubon. In this way, we may receive a larger share of your membership dues for use by the
local chapter, and you’ll still be a member of National Audubon as well as PCAS!
Annual renewals. Continue to mail your annual renewal to National Audubon, PO Box 420235, Palm Coast, FL
32142-0235, or try NAS's "Paper Free" renewal program. It's a great way to guarantee that you receive
uninterrupted service of Audubon magazine while also helping to conserve paper.
Members who enroll in this program do not receive renewal reminders through the mail. The program is simple:
each year on the anniversary of your first payment into the program, National Audubon will charge your credit card
for the initial amount you contributed upon joining the program. In addition, prior to the charge, National Audubon
will notify you via a post card, so that you may contact Audubon to make a change to your donation or stop the
payment.

“Paper Free Renewal” in the subject line, or sign up by calling NAS toll free at (800) 274-4201.
Membership Forms: Mail-in membership forms can be found on the last page of each Feathers newsletter or click
to print and mail in this online form. In addition, a membership form can be obtained by contacting the PCAS
Membership Director, Iris McPherson, or you may join the NAS online at www.audubon.org. If you are a new
member joining through National's website in 2010, please remember to identify yourself with our 2011 chapter
code: C1Z T05 0Z. When the chapter code appears on the application, NAS returns the entire $20 introductory fee
to PCAS.
