Dana says: ""New birds are added quite often. Several people have asked me about what species a particular bird might be, so some instructions are in order. I have included the common name (not scientific name) with each photo, as well as the place and date the photo was taken. To see this information, you can either run the slide show, or single-click on any picture. When you click on it, the photo will become much larger. Scroll down to see the information I have included. Scroll further down and you will see all the camera information. "After most of the photos is a single capital letter, A, C, FC, U, or R. These letters stand for Abundant, Common, Fairly Common, Uncommon, or Rare. The designations are for Payne County and are based on the time of year. That is, a bird that is common in summer in our area might be rare in winter."
